The day of the big party was finally here, and as usual Josh was far from prepared for it. Rolling over and hitting the light on his alarm clock, he groaned as the numbers glew in the dark of his bedroom. "One forty-five?" He said aloud, sitting up slowly and pushing the covers from his naked body, "It's far too early to be contemplating anything right now..." Unfortunately he was one of those people who couldn't get back to sleep once he had woken up, which was probably his own fault from years of substance abuse or something. Either way, it didn't take long for him get his skinny ass out of bed, throw on a pair of boxers and make his way downstairs, where various members of the band were already up and doing things. "Mornin'" He grunted, not bothering to listen to any replies. All he wanted right now was some breakfast, and maybe a beer.
Luckily, the fridge was fully stocked in preparation for the party tonight. After grabbing one, Josh took it with his bowl to the couch and inhaled them both, grinning like a maniac afterwards. It was funny how all it took was a bowl of some breakfast and some sort of inebriating chemical to wake him up. As he sat there, he heard constant yelling coming from up and down stairs, items being thrown around and doors slamming. "Home sweet home," He muttered, gathering his energy in order to stand up and get ready.
Not bothering to wash his dishes, Joshua ran upstairs to put on some clothes and grabbed his cell phone. He had two text messages, both from the band's dealer. "Shi mentioned a party, need to pick up?" Ignoring the other text, Josh mashed on the buttons in reply to the text he had read. "Hell fucking yes. I'll be there in 20." He hit send and threw on the rest of his shit, grabbing his keys and hopping the stairs two by two. As was custom in the KTL household, he didn't bother to locate each and every single one of his friends to let them he was going out to pick up drugs. "HEY FUCKERS!" He yelled instead, "I'm going to pick up! Try not to miss me too much!" Had anyone of his friends still been sleeping, they probably wouldn't be by now.
It took a surprisingly long time for Joshua to get back from their dealers place. Of course, as usual he had stayed for a little bit to smoke a joint with the guy, but that was just a regular occurrence for him now. Their dealer loved him, and it was the reason that he was the one that always went to go score for the rest of the band. For some reason, he would always cut in a little more than their moneys worth, and as far as the rest of the guys were concerned, that made Josh a very valuable person to have around. As he hit the button to open the garage, the first thing he noticed was Nick's car parked across both spaces inside. Goddamnit Shilo! He thought, stopping outside the garage instead of pulling into his usual space that know occupied the ass-end of Nick's.
Walking inside the house, Josh noticed quite a few people already showing up for the party. Nodding at the ones who noticed him walk in, he quickly sought after Shilo. It didn't take long to notice the loud, obnoxious girl standing alone in the kitchen. "The next time you actually manage to park the car properly, I'm gonna make you a fucking medal!" He said, the aggression in his voice cancelled out by the grin on his lips, "Here, this is for you." Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out one of the many little baggies of cocaine he had stored in there, and handed it over to her. "You're fucking welcome!" He said, winking and turning away.
Ignoring the crowd of people that were rapidly growing inside the house, Joshua ran upstairs and kicked open the door to his room. Flicking on the light, he removed the tshirt he was wearing and threw on a plaid button up, leaving the front open to expose his tattooed body. Chances were that the shirt would come off entirely before long anyway so this just made things easier for the time being. Only one last thing to do before going down and attending the party that was now beginning to pick up. Locating the little amount of coke that was left in his last baggie, he lined it up and sucked it down. With a quick shake of his head, he was finally ready to party the night away.
With a smirk, Josh hopped back down the stairs and mingled with the crowd of people a little, saying hey and throwing some high fives around to people that he recognised. Looking around he saw all the typical cliques; The Disaster Beyond The Grave crew, the As Said Before crew... As he saw all the people, one stood out as always. Sofia. Grinning, Josh quickly walked by her and smacked her ass in the incredibly inappropriate fashion he so loved to use. Continuing back onto the kitchen, he find Shilo now talking to some guy he'd never met before, so naturally, he decided to jump in on their conversation. "She ain't lying!" He chimed in after her talk of being more talented than Myles, "You'll here differently, but the real talent comes from us guitarists." Standing next to Shilo, he reached for a beer from the cooler and grinned. "So, what's up numbnuts?" He asked casually, "I think we need to turn up the heat a little, this parties kinda... dead." That was the problem when you were one of the few people on drugs, everything around seemed boring by comparison. Stealing a glance at Sofia off in the corner, he wondered how she had reacted to his personal greeting for her. The thought merely brought a chuckle to his tongue before he took a swig from his beer and waited for some sort of unlady-like response from one of his closest friends.
