PERSONALITY: The Good
- Caring – Travis will always ask you how you’re doing and will genuinely care about what you have to say. It comes pretty easily for him though he really doesn’t like to show this side of himself because his friends say that he gets too involved with people’s lives. Sometimes he does get a bit involved with people he shouldn’t, but he can’t help that he is a people person.
- Intelligent – He knows a lot of useless facts that make their way into the conversation regularly. Travis absorbs knowledge wherever he goes and is able to retain that information without even trying to. Some say that he’s a nerd, but he can assure you that none of this information was obtained in school.
- Friendly – Travis makes friends wherever he goes probably because he’s very talkative. He can talk for hours on end about random topics to strangers. Though may some find him a bit weird for being so friendly and offering hugs to anyone that passes him, he likes this quality and is convinced that it will only help him in this business.
- Outgoing – He tends to like doing spontaneous dangerous things quite often. Travis loves going out to places he’s never been and trying new things. He doesn’t really know fear when it comes to doing stupid things and will almost always be the entertainer.
- Charmer – Travis makes Edward Cullen look corny. He has this weird ability to charm people with his words even if he doesn’t mean to or isn’t really trying at all. Perhaps it’s his easygoing attitude or that characteristic smirk, he hasn’t decided which yet.
The Bad
- Temper – Travis has a bad temper and when it flares, he gets into a fight. It doesn’t matter who the person is, but he almost always wants to fight. It’s not a very good quality since he’s been arrested for it and it gets the band kicked out of clubs.
- Self Centered – Sometimes, Travis will only care about his needs and adapt the ‘screw everyone else’ attitude. He usually only does things for personal gain because hell, he wants to make it really badly. This quality drives people away when he acts like an idiot.
- Sarcastic – When Travis gets angry, sarcasm is his best friend. His words are usually hurtful and take the form of weird analogies that somehow make sense. As aforementioned, he’s not pleasant to be around when he’s like this.
- Liar – Although he only lies about small things, he still lies. It’s not at ridiculous level yet but it could get that way. He can’t kick the habit no matter how hard he tries.
- Addict – Travis loves cigarettes and the weird burning sensation that he gets from it. It calms his nerves when he’s angry and lets him relax before a show. He knows how bad smoking is for him but can’t seem to stop.

SIBLINGS: Amy Michaels and adopted sister Katrina Fae Parker
HISTORY: On December 23rd, Travis Noah was born into the Michaels family. His parents thought it would be funny to name him with ridiculous names but has since gotten used to his three names. Mother and homemaker, Julia Gork traded her silly maiden name when she married William Michaels who had dedicated his life to songwriting. Though William hadn’t become anything when he had two children, he decided to give it up temporarily and trade it in for a real job. Instead of songwriting, he was working late nights doing clerical work for a law firm. It didn’t make nearly as much as they needed so when his first song topped the charts, he was relieved and able to move his family into a more comfortable home and neighborhood. Travis grew up in Nashville, Tennessee surrounded by everything that was country. It was slightly annoying but soon he found himself adapting to the local culture and adopting the likes of the guitar at the age of ten. His sister, Amelia had taken up the singing part of the country thang and was doing fairly well at it. She was off touring herself and he hadn’t seen his older sister in quite some time.
When high school was in full swing, Travis looked for other people he could jam with and what had started as mindless chord shredding, turned into a band that people actually liked. He was fairly pleased with the outcome and before he knew it, he was booked on tour with a few other bands to change music history and whatnot. It started out with local shows but since has grown.
While he was seventeen he met his first girlfriend. She was pretty amazing and they clicked fairly well. He loved taking her partying with his friends and just spending time with her. When his band started playing shows every weekend, the girlfriend got jealous and slept with one of his band mates. Travis didn’t find out until nine months later when she told him the truth. Although he was there for the entire pregnancy, he couldn’t take her deceptiveness and left her. It was a very hard thing to do especially if it turned out to be his child.
Though college isn’t in his immediate plans, he promised his parents that eventually, he would get there just not right now and left his house with a single suitcase and a backpack that held all of his possessions. On one of his band’s tours, their car broke down in Colorado and not having enough money to actually fix it, they decided to stay for a while.

Life is funny; the way how it never ceases to complicate the simplest things. It always seems to get in the way of the things you planned and never really seems to turn out right. Life has its ups and downs, rarely ever matching up expectations and reality, which could be a potential problem for those who are less outgoing. Travis had always been a bit more outgoing than the average guy; taking whatever came to him without much complaining. He didn’t complain when Amanda cheated on him; he just let his smirk fade away and left her house. It wasn’t something that he talked about, come to think of it, he never really did talk about the things in his life that didn’t go as planned. Instead, Travis boasted about the better things in his life, like the girl down the street with the orange shoes, who he scored with. Lately, Travis really didn’t have things going his way and he was afraid that he was hurting those who meant the most simply because life was doing it again… it was getting in the way.
Travis rolled over in his empty bed. It was rarely empty just a few months ago but now he was sleeping alone. No one wanted much to do with a nineteen year old boy who had a son, a demanding ex girlfriend, and a needy current girlfriend. Delilah wasn’t talking to him, or he assumed that she wasn’t judging by the way things went the other day. Now that he thought about it, he shouldn’t have been so rude in saying that he didn’t have time for her. It was wrong and should have been handled more carefully, to at least try not to hurt her feelings. But what did she expect in coming to his apartment? Did she really think he would be home alone and that they could order Chinese food and watch awesome movies? Aaron was his life now and it wasn’t fair for Delilah. It was probably the reason why she had cheated on him to begin with. He didn’t have time for her and so she found someone who did have time for her. Although Travis wished that things would work out, he knew it was past that. If their relationship was going to be saved, it was going to take a lot of work. Work, that Travis didn’t have time for.
It was relatively hard to come to the conclusion that he had to let Delilah go, but he knew it was the most logical decision. He was simply holding her back and he knew that once she was free again, she would be able to live a happier life, a life without him. It was easier said than done, breaking up with someone he really cared about. But he had heard from more than one person about her wandering eyes and so it had to hold some sort of truth. He was going to end it before he could hurt too badly. Travis kept trying to tell himself that she didn’t care about him anyway but that was a lie and he couldn’t believe it. He knew that she cared about him at one point, whether or not she still did was something else. It was going to be a difficult day and Travis wasn’t looking forward to it.
His colored eyes looked over at the alarm clock, which boasted in annoyingly red lines that it was eleven in the morning. Without getting out of bed, he reached for his phone that was buried in his comfortable sheets and called Delilah. When no one answered, he simply left a message. Hey Dee. I’m really sorry about the other day. I’m going to the beach today, I was wondering if you’d want to go. Hanging up, he swung his legs over the side of the bed to start his day. The beach was a special place, it always had been for him and Delilah. It was where they first met and where they met after his six months of touring. He sort of felt bad that he was going to end it there too, but he figured that the atmosphere would have the most closing effect. Travis got dressed in silence, skipped breakfast and began the short trek across town to the beach. The day wasn’t sunny, no of course it wasn’t. It probably would have been a good idea to check the weather before he left his house, but he didn’t. A thick blanket of fog lined the beach, making it incredibly hard to see if she was even here yet.
Travis stood, hands crossed against his chest, looking out into what he could see of the salty water. It was a bit windy than he would have liked and his brown hair was tussled by the wind. The dull cry of gulls filled the background coupled by the gentle crashing of the waves along the shore. Everyone had left their summer behind them and moved on to school and what was to come. It wasn’t hard to see why the beach was completely vacant except for the occasional gull.
